Rockefeller Center

Nothing says Christmas in New York quite like Rockefeller Center.  The tree, the ice skaters, and the carols playing from Saks all combine to fill you with Christmas spirit.  It's worth braving the tourists to see the twinkling lights.  We decided to go on a snowy evening which gave us an even greater sense that Christmas is almost here.

Looking up at lights and snow

Snowy kisses!

Covered in snow and loving it

The tree up close, still hard to see with all the snow!

Newbie Tip: Sometimes it's worth braving crowds of tourists and Rockefeller Center at Christmas is one of those times.  Skip the ice skating, the price is high and the line is long. Be sure to pause to admire the projector show on the Saks building and take time to tour the shops nearby for unique gifts!
